Frequently Asked Questions about seats for the
SuperMagna

Some aftermarket seats were available for a short
time. These are rare, but do show up occasionally:
Saddlemen by Travelcade:
There are at least three different models, two
are a one piece, two seater with gel inserts: the
Drifter which had a smooth/unadorned leather
covering, and the
Desperado, which was a dressed up version of the
the Drifter. It had "bat ears" on the sides and
conchos all around. There is also a
two
piece version made by Travelcade as well.
Corbin
Corbin bought stock pans, foamed and covered
them. There was a
removable Driver's backrest, and a removable
passenger backrest also made by Corbin.
Versions for the new gen Magnas fit with some
modifications. The rear fender has to be drilled for
the mounting point, and there ends up being a space
between the seat and the frame of the motorcycle on
the underside. Owner Tom Jorgensen (666) has
posted his guide to the install in the
Mods section.
Highway Hawk
Highway Hawk made an aftermarket seat for the
supermagna. Coverings varied from
plain
smooth black, to a version with
flames. The Highway Hawk seat is a single piece
two-seater.
