David Cates'

Guide to the fitment of a Yamaha Warrior gas tank to the SuperMagna.

You can expect to get about 4.90 gallons the tank.

The front of the tank is mounted just like the stock super tank . The tank will rides on the stock rubber gourmets just like the stock one does, but may need to be shimmed up a bit.

If your going to use a stock style petcock you will need to find a [bung] for the type your going to use. I found several on bay.  Don’t get any weld on the threads! Make sure it’s positioned where the stock tank petcock is or it won’t fit in between the cylinders just right.

I paid $75.00 for the tank and had it welded up for about 75.00 dollars

chrome gas caps are $100.00

Pressure checking the tank is a must; I beat all the welds with a hammer several times to make sure it didn’t leak, then pressure checked it again.

This is only a guideline for this mod - you may find a better way.

Good luck, David
