Guide to cropping the rear turn signal stalks.

Super Magna Rear Turn Signal Mod (removal of rubber spacers and remount)

What you’ll need:

2          5/16”-18 x 2 ½ ” Thumb screws (may want 3” and cut as necessary)

2          5/16” bolts and lock washers

1          13/64” drill bit

1          6mm-1.0 metric tap

1          Dremel (or some kind of grinder)

1.         Remove the rear turn signals.

                        - Remove the seat and unplug the rear turn signals

                        - remove bolts from front of grabrail (under the seat), and turn signal mounting bolts (inside the fender)

- feed wires out from grabrail

- remove black rubber spacer from turn signal and set aside (you will not need it at all anymore)

2.         At the top of the thumb screw, drill one 13/64” hole, tap it, and shave off the edges of the thumb screw for best fit

3.         Mount thumb screw to the inside of the turn signal using the original mounting screw on the back of the turn signal.

4.         You can now feed the wires through the back most hole on the grabrail, and the threads of the thumb screw can go through the front hole, and ultimately the fender (where your washers and nuts go).

5.         Put your grabrail back together, plug in the turn signals, and ride!
