| Story: |
While I was still having
lessons here in Holland, I started looking for a
motorcycle with a friend. I wasn't really looking
for buying one however. We spoke some things over,
and, because I like speeding, (and we are living
very near to Germany, where there are NO speed
limits) we first searched for Honda's CBR 600 (F).
Once I had driven this bike, I thought the CBR was
not the right bike for me. Too little 'touch'
between me (the rider) and the bike. So, we went
searching for an alternative. That was again Honda.
But now the VFR. I liked the bike a lot because of
it's appearance. But again, after I drove some
miles, I was not having the satisfaction I was
looking for. Then I saw Yamaha's V-MAX. It was a
rough bike to see, and I liked the sound it
produced. Unfortunately, I could not afford that one
anyway. So, the moment came that I decided to wait
buying a motorcycle. I decided to rent some
different bikes in the coming season. But things
went different: By accident (I was looking for a gas
station for my car) I saw it in a shop built next to
a gas station. It was love at first sight. There it
was, a Honda VF700C. Also known as SUPERMAGNA. And
you know what? I searched for a bike through the
whole country. And this one was standing only 2
miles away from the place I live! And I bought it. A
yellow Supermagna, to be proud of. |
