Story: The last bike I owned was a Honda NX250 several years ago. I was searching for a cruiser but had no idea what I wanted. I wanted something unique. I had looked at a Yamaha 850 triple. It was modified and what plenty fast but the seat height was a little high. I was poking around on the web early last summer and found this site. I liked the looks of the super immediately. The more I read the more I knew this was it. I got serious about finding one and commenced the search. I live in Richmond, VA and couldn't find one locally. I wanted a black or blue one. I started looking out of state on cycle trader and eBay. I bid on a blue one in Michigan with 13,500 miles on it and won the auction. $500 in packing and shipping later it arrived at the Forward Air freight terminal in Richmond on the Friday before Labor Day. My buddy, Billy, in the picture on his former VLX600 (he now has a new Suzuki Volusia 800) helped me go pick it up that night. Unfortunately, the keys didn't arrive until the following Tuesday. My neighbors thought I looked pretty funny sitting on the bike in the garage over the long weekend waiting for the FedEx truck. Since taking the picture I have replaced the seat covers with Saddleman's replacement covers and am extremely happy with them. I also added a Memphis Shades Hellcat windscreen which works well and looks pretty good for a windscreen. I still like the naked look best. I've ordered some parts from Parts fish and am waiting for them to arrive. The bike starts right up and runs great! I love it.
