Here are some pics of my bike.
It is a 1987 VF750C (non-tariff Canadian model) with
9000 kms (5500 miles) on the motor. I had it trucked
in from coastal British Columbia in mid winter
(2001) and have fixing it up since. The bike had
suffered some mistreatment and it has taken some
time and money to get it looking good again. It had
been stored for many years outside and therefore
corrosion had become an issue. A good polishing
compound and a strong arm took care of much of the
rust , but many pieces warranted re-plating. |
