Came across your site this
weekend - what a trip. Who knew - so many owners,
and a club too. Bought my bike in 2003. Found
it at a small engine repair shop. The owner of the
shop had purchased "a shed full of ATV's" and the
bike was in the shed too. He put a new gas tank on
it - no telling how long it had been since it was
ridden last. The paint has faded in several
places, the chrome is not really pretty, and lots of
the black plastic stuff is quite faded also. I also
need to have the carbs cleaned - I think things are
still gummed up a bit. There is significant
hesitation at low RPM's until you get to about 4K
RPM. Gets me around town though. I would also
love to have some sort of backrest mounted, with a
small rack behind it - something I could strap a big
lunchbox to. Oh well - someday. |
