This is the second '88 Super
that has found its home with me. The first I bought
during my senior year in college in spring of 1990.
After college I had a tough time finding work and
settled for working in nuclear power. Within months,
this led me to traveling extensively in the US. Not
knowing what kind of cash flow situation I would
have, I made the very hard decision to sell and have
regretted it ever since.
So this year, I decided that the time had come to
right the wrong. I found this beauty on the internet
in Texas. After a couple of conversations, and
emailed photos, the transaction was completed.
The bike is all original, except for the custom
paint, with 16,500 miles on it. I have a couple of
modifications that I am looking into, but for now I
am looking forward to many miles and many smiles.. |
