At the age of 18, I started taking driving lessons on a motorcycle, because for all my life motorcycles have fascinated me. {My parents both ride a motorbike...) Why the hell should I drive a car...I can't even afford one myself!!!

Being a student is very hard sometimes...no money, no money, no money.. But I had to find a way to transport myself, so a motorbike is a good option. It's cheap and it's fast. Anyway, after 6 months I got the famous license in my pocket. I already had a bike in the garage for 3 months, a 23 kW Suzuki LS650 Savage... It's a nice bike to start with. Not that fast on the highway, but good for cruising and better than nothing. I've ridden that bike for 2 years.

Last June, I was allowed to drive heavier machines (that damn Dutch law...first 2 years max 25 kW if you're under the age of 21). My father used to ride on a Super Magna, before he decided to choose Hardley Davidson. So I was familiar with the Super already. Now comes the hardest part...Finding a cheap but nice looking Super BEFORE June, cause the Savage was just for staying under 25 kW.

And YESSS, I found one. A blue 87 VF750C (yes, 750 cc from 1987). But It looked a bit like crap, because it had been in the same room as the owner's horses (!). So the aluminium of the front fork was really corroded. But now, after hours of polishing and putting some new components on (like the Laser-Jama exhaust), I'm very, very happy with my sweet Super. This winter, I'll probably paint it. But only God knows the colour...
