I've been enamored with the
87-88 Magnas from their inception. I was 14 when I
saw the 87 and immediately knew I had to have one.
Of course I had no money so I had to wait a while.
I've had crotch rockets over the last few years and
really enjoyed them but, I got married and now have
a beautiful daughter so the real expensive toys had
to go. After a year or so without a bike, the itch
really started getting to me. That's when I knew I
had to start looking for the Magna. A few months
later I saw this one in the paper and went to have a
look. The guy had it sitting out in the weather for
about 4 months so the cosmetics where rough. The
engine and trans worked great though, so I bought it
reasonable with 18K on it. A lot of work and some
money later, here is the finished product. I'm
pleased with the way it turned out. |
