Fell in love with the style
when I saw a couple of them in a parking lot. I was
surprised to hear these came stock like this - with
the pipes and solid rim. I definitely had to have
one. I had been looking for a black 88 for about six
months when I came across this one in Reston,
Virginia (on the internet). I was in the DC area on
business a month later and just happened to call the
guy up to see if it was still available. He said he
still had it (had a rough time selling it in
December!). I drove to Reston. The poor thing was
still out in the rain with no cover. I closed the
deal within 5 minutes and bought the guy a
motorcycle cover. 2 Weeks later, the bike was in
Dallas. I spent a few days cleaning and bringing the
life back to her. She is now clean, has a few mods
and LOUD! Definitely LOUD!! No baffles! I love the
sound, but probably irritates the hell out of my
riding buddies in Dallas. Few things left to do like
the rear wheel, seat, some chrome pieces, etc...
