| Story: |
My story is not unlike most
Super Magna owners. I was planning on buying a bike
to ride in the beautiful land of North Carolina. I
knew I wanted a cruiser and was drawn to Honda
Shadows. One day while browsing the Cycle Trader I
saw an older Magna (1986) that was within my price
range. The picture reminded me of an older Shadow
but the add said "...powerful V Four Cruiser." I had
never heard of a V Four cruiser so I decided to
educate myself. I found the SabMag, V4 Power page
and learned the history of Magnas. Then I followed
the link to this site...AWESOME! I fell in love with
the Super Magna (who wouldn't?). The only problem
was finding one in my price range. So began the
quest which ended when I found my Magna on the net,
for sale in Connecticut. The picture the former
owner sent did the bike no justice and when I saw it
I knew it was mine! CASH BABY! My only mods have
been adding a windscreen, a beautiful fork bag
w/chrome eagle's head, a bag on the rack in back and
painting a Spiderman picture on both sides of the
rear fender. Many times my bike garners attention,
questions and praise (all kids love the Spiderman
thing!). Because of this site I can honestly say I
can own no other bike! The Super Magna will become
the standard by which all other cruisers are judged.
