Story: My love affairs with Magnas really began with a 1984 V30 Magna. Then we stumbled on to cherry '86 Magna. More powerful, quicker, etc. Then later-- we stumbled on to another Magna. We were puzzled (as at that time we had no idea what a 'super magna' was). A raked out appearance, upswept pipes, dark blue, and really cherry. Anyway-too unusual-and we passed- but as is my habit- I stuck the phone number on my bulletin board in the 'of interest' section. Throughout the next year, every once in awhile, we would discuss this unusual bike. And we would recollect-- only 4500 miles on it !! About 1 year later, on a cold Feb. morning, we discussed it again. We decided that if he still had it, we would go 50/50. I dug through my old phone numbers, and sure enough I found it. I called the owner and asked if he still had the bike, and he responded "I was just thinking about that bike again, as it is still taking up space in my garage." The rest is history. Since then, we have had a keen interest in these bikes.. From this 'mildly modified' maroon '87 to a black 88 found in a farmer's barn. (unfortunately, he knew what he had.) We have also made room for this 1987 700 Yamaha Fazer. Anyway- I hope you enjoy your bikes as much as we enjoy ours.
