Story:

After getting out of the Navy, I bought a new-in-a-crate blue ’87 in 1988 (my first bike), and put about 1600 miles on it in Odessa, Texas. When I relocated to the Dallas area in 1991, it went into storage. Years later, after getting remarried and having kids, I was “convinced” to sell it when my new father-in-law was involved in a serious motorcycle accident.

However, for our last anniversary, my wife bought me a new bike to replace the Magna. She said she always regretted “letting me” sell my bike. The bike she gave me was a Suzuki Intruder VS800, which just didn’t feel right (I’ve only ever ridden a Super Magna). So, I found a Super locally to test drive, and was immediately convinced to get another. The one I drove locally was not well cared for, and also had cosmetic issues. So, I started looking online. The nearest low mileage bike I found was in Mississippi, and my son and I soon drove out and picked it up. Been driving it every day since. My wife is learning to drive the Intruder (her Dad’s old bike), but I’m working on getting her to try out the Magna. I’d rather sell the Intruder and have a pair of Supers for us to ride.

Thanks for maintaining the site. It has been VERY helpful!
