Story:

I have been watching supermagna.com for many years. Waiting and wanting for my opportunity to become a member. I owned an '83 v45 for 5-6 years and always dreamed of finding a super to replace it. I sold off my v45 after my third kid was born. I went a few years without a bike. After getting divorced, I found a great deal on a Virago. I though, shaft drive cruiser style... cool. I rode it one summer and it had to go. This was not what I remembered riding to be like. Another two years go by and I am still reading and watching the forums. There is was Magnadad in Indianapolis was selling his red '87. Being an hour away, I called Gary and set up a time to look at it. On the way, I knew if this bike was in the shape he described, I would finally owe one. Gary was very nice. He had taken care of the bike and obviously put time and money into it. I didn't have much chance to ride last year, and it basically sat in the garage over the winter. The past couple of weeks, I have been bit by the upgrade bug. With the help of other forum members, I have put on new Venom X tires, replace the pegs and levers with Kuryakyn, ordered a Sargent cover, have a set of VTX shocks on the way, have a set of Progressive springs waiting to be installed, added a T -bag, mounted a pad to the sissy bar, and don't see an end to the list of planned projects. With the help of this group, I am a very happy owner of a Super bike. I have been active in the forums for a few months now, but I never took the time to write in and become a member. I was hoping to get some better pictures this spring.

(The black bike ) is a picture of Wendi's 88.  This was an upgrade for her from a 1983 CB550 Nighthawk, her first motorcycle.  She rode the nighthawk for two years before moving up to the magna.
